So, it goes without saying that I really stink at blogging. I barely ever do it and I doubt anyone follows this. But if anyone stumbles upon this, I don't want them to say how lame it was, so here we go.

Hi, my name is Josh, and that's pretty much all I'm going to say about me. I like to right little sermons that no one will ever hear, but this is where I'm going to post them from now on. I'm not very good, but it's fun to post, which is why people have Facebook, Myspace, Twitter, etc. So that's what this blog is. Just in case you're wondering. :)

San Francisco

Recently, I went to San Francisco with YWAM (Youth With A Mission) and I got to talk to people on the streets who were homeless.
Everyone expects people who are homeless to be mean and cranky all the time, but they're not. They're kind, innocent people who don't deserve to be on the streets at all. Anyway, when I was there, I realized how much darkness there really is there, and that's why my church went. To be a light in the darkness, what God called us to be.
While I was there, God taught me how to live, love and be an influence on people who need it. But he also taught me that I need to do what he wants me to and that it's not about me at all. It's all about God. My heart broke for the city, and I really want to go back soon because I love it there. It's one of my favorite places in the world now, no matter how crazy it is, because that's the reason I love it.
